March 10 - Agra to Delhi by bus

Today was a transit day. The only place we got out and walked was Humayun's Tomb, sometimes known as the "Little" Taj Mahal. It is another World Heritage site.  It was built before the Taj Mahal. So the Taj Mahal used many design features from this tomb, added some more, and made it bigger and of white marble.

We drove by many government buildings. Dehli is the capital of India. We saw there Parliament building and the President's house.

Our hotel is Bajaj India Homestay. It is almost a bed and breakfast type place. The rickshaw drivers are aggressively friendly trying to get you into their vehicle. It is really annoying. We could not just go out and get a simple walk after the long bus ride.

We had a lovely dinner prepared by the Chef here. Sunday several of us will be taking an Indian cooking class from him.

Tomorrow is supposed to be a busy day on Dehli sightseeing. More Temples where we will have to go bare foot.
