After that was the elephant ride and Fort Amber. Later we went into the city and saw this amazing observatory with huge instruments. We are at what looks like a sundial, but this one is aligned to track the zodiac sign of Sagittarius. There is one for each of the signs of the Zodiac! There are also huge sundials that are very precise. They were built because horoscopes are very important to Hindus.

The last is a view out our bedroom window where a man is sweeping leaves off the grass in the well tended garden.
